Keyword search is a key figure to keep in mind when creating new content or optimizing existing content.
There are a number of great paid SEO tools that allow you to do exactly this. But more about them next time.
Today, we’re going to look at how to do this for free. There are three basic options.
Google Whisperer and List
Type your keyword into the search engine and see what other keywords the search engine recommends. These so called long tail keywords are then great as they are usually easier to rank for because they are very specific and there is less content for them.
You can read more about long tail words at [Jan Strafeldy’s site](https://www.strafelda.cz/long-tail#:~:text=Long tail term (in English, for search engines and PPC ads.).
Like Google, you can use the List whisperer.
There is also a free option to go directly to specialized platforms.
Google Ads
Google Ads is Google’s platform for search engine ad buyers. However, it can also be used for keyword research.
To do this, we use the “Keyword Planner” tool, which can be found on the platform in 4 clicks.
1) Go to https://ads.google.com/home/ and sign in with your Google account.
2) Go to the keyword planner
3**)** Select “Discover new keywords”
- Enter your word and see the results.

What you can do with Google, you can do again with Seznam. This time using their Sklik platform.
Sklik
Go to sklik.cz and log in again (in the upper right corner).
- Next click on full version of Sklik
- Click “Keyword suggestion”
- Enter the keyword you want to explore and have multiple lines listed
- Select the relevant words and you can export the entire list
If you want to see what the use of these two tools looks like in practice, you can watch the matador of the Czech Internet Dusan Janovsky alis Yuh demonstrate their use in a great video by Freelancer.
I hope the article was helpful and let me know in the comments how you approach keyword analysis!
