WP Rocket is probably the most popular plugin for speed on WordPress.
Right?
Right. That’s why it made it into my selection of best WordPress plugins. In this article, we’ll take a little closer look at why.
What does the plugin do?
WP Rocket can do a lot:
- Page caching,
- GZIP compression,
- Prefetch cache,
- Dedicated mobile cache,
- Database cleanup,
- Lazy load and much more…
But the best way to experience the power of WP Rocket is to experience it for yourself. So feel free to email me and I’ll be happy to activate a 7-day license on your site so you can compare the difference.
You can also watch this before and after video where WP Rocket was tested with Elementor.
How much does the plugin cost?
WP Rocket unfortunately does not offer a free version. However, it is good enough that the investment in a license is definitely worth it.
WP Rocket will set you back about 1250 CZK for one website, and an unlimited site license costs just over 6000 CZK.
However, site creators often have this license, so you can contact them and arrange to buy a license for your site for a much lower amount.
Alternatives
If you want to speed up your site for free, I recommend NitroPack, which will make your site extremely fast, basically on a click, without any setup. Then a good free speedup is also CDN Cloudflare.
Then there are also a number of free caching plugins. Personally, the WP Optimize plugin, which is from the same creators as the UpDraft plugin, has probably been the most useful for me.Other plugins to look at

Word of Conclusion
I can recommend WP Rocket with a calm heart. However, you may know of a plugin that far exceeds WP Rocket in functionality.
